Why you need a Castor Oil Pack in Your Life

What is a Castor Oil Pack?

Castor Oil Packs are often cotton cloth soaked in castor oil and placed over the liver on the right side of the abdomen. Castor Oil Packs are often double-sided, one side is absorbent cotton and the other side is an oil-resistant material to help reduce the spread of the oil onto clothing. Castor Oil does stain so wear old clothes that you don’t mind staining.

Castor Oil packing is an ancient practice believed to originate from ancient Eygpt and is now used by modern naturopaths as a way to ease several ailments and detoxify the liver.

  2. Place cloth or pack directly on the right side of your abdomen over your liver just below your ribcage.

  3. If using a DIY pack place a towel or plastic wrap over the castor oil-saturated cloth to prevent spreading the castor oil.

  4. Place a heating pad or a hot water bottle over the castor oil pack if desired.

  5. Relax with the pack starting with 15 minutes for the first session and incrementally increase time in future sessions up to 1 hour.

  6. Cleanse the area after the Castor Oil Pack has been removed and repeat 2-3 times weekly, ideally at night as it is relaxing.

Castor Oil is a natural way to support your liver in its mission to keep your body waste and toxin-free.
